Orangutan X Elite enjoyed a strong campaign during the FFMIC 2026 Fall Knockout Stage and will enter the Grand Finals looking to carry that momentum into the biggest matches of the tournament.
Desi Gamers also made an impact after their recent return to the competitive esports scene. Their performance in the previous stage earned them a place among the 12 finalists and set up an opportunity to compete for the FFMIC title.
Several established names also made it through Knockout Week 2. Total Gaming Esports, Team Apex Gaming, TSG Pros, and GodLike Esports produced strong performances during the stage and secured their spots in the Grand Finals alongside Orangutan X Elite and Desi Gamers.
The remaining six teams booked their places through Knockout Week 3. Resurrection and Clutza Esports had a relatively inconsistent run during Week 2, but both teams managed to improve their performances in the following stage and ultimately secured qualification for the finale.
Meanwhile, NG Pros, Revenant XSpark, S8UL Esports, and The W Squad also capitalized on their Week 3 performances to complete the 12-team Grand Finals lineup.
A Place at the FFWS 2026 Global Finals
Beyond the FFMIC championship and its ₹1 crore prize pool, the Grand Finals carry another major incentive: three teams will earn the opportunity to represent India at the FFWS 2026 Global Finals, which are scheduled to be held in Thailand in November.
Several of the finalists already have experience competing on the international stage. Team Apex Gaming, S8UL Esports, and Total Gaming Esports represented India at the Free Fire World Cup 2026 in Paris in July, giving them previous experience of competing against teams from outside the country.
With three global qualification spots available, the FFMIC 2026 Fall Grand Finals will be about more than simply lifting the domestic trophy. The 12 finalists will also be fighting for an opportunity to take India's Free Fire MAX competition to the international stage later this year.
